ARTIST STATEMENT

Ground State Energy is a physics term that describes the Field; the vacuum of infinite energy that life and all matter is continuously manifesting in and through. Can I reach this infinite understanding by going deeper into myself and allowing the movement to mirror some flow of energy from an outer edge of universe to the smallest protons inside me?
I paint this question.
On a canvas; two sides painted with acrylic micaceous iron oxide; omnidirectional. May be found rolled, folded, hung, draped or layered. Light plays over around and through the surface and glances off the mica, weightless.
